Chat n Play Groups
All newcomers, those starting to think about intercountry adoption, or those currently going through the process or those who have lost touch and wish to rejoin, are most welcome to come along to one of the support/playgroups listed below.

Looking to set up a new Playgroup in your area? How can ASIAC help?
If you are looking to set up a playgroup in your area or regional centre, ASIAC can help in a number of ways:

  • advertise the Playgroup to our 700 members via our circulation list
  • develop your own Playgroup website to advertise your play dates and events

Our preference is to support Playgroups which are open to all the countries from which our children are adopted.

For more information , please contact our Playgroup Co-ordinator, Maggie Marwick.

CHINA

PHILIPPINES
The inner west Philippines playgroup meets every 3- 4 weeks usually on a Friday morning. In addition, every couple of months the group organises a weekend meeting, usually on a Sunday so that partners and older children can attend as well.

The venue varies and information about location and meeting times are sent out via email some weeks before. Suggestions for venues are appreciated. Families with adopted Filipino children and those waiting are welcome.
