NATIONAL
PEAK BODY (NPB) - OVERSEAS ADOPTION ASIAC is pleased
to announce that Dr Gary Banks has been appointed as our
representative on the National Peak Body on Overseas Adoption.
Gary is joined by two other current members of ASIAC - Dr
Lucy Burns (previously President of ASIAC) and Marianne Sabila.
ASIAC has submitted the following agenda items for the first
meeting of the NPB in late May:
- Maternity Payment: Abolish
age limit

Tax Concessions
- New Adoption Programs
- National Intercountry Adoption Standards
- Post Adoption Services
- Special Needs & Older Child Adoption
We will keep our members informed of NPB outcomes
via email.
